Promoting Affirm with Email and Social

So this is cool: Buy Now Pay Later apps like Affirm are up 81% from 2020 to 2021.

Do you think these apps will go away when the world opens up again?

Affirm has over 6 million users who like the financial flexibility that the service provides. 2 out of every 10 Gen-X's use them, and 3 out of every 10 Millennials.

And 81% growth in adoption year over year. (That is one of the many reasons Punchmark partners with Affirm and recommends all of our clients use them.)

Once new technology and payment options hit that level of growth and consumer adoption, that shows a shift in buying and purchasing habits that won't change back.

So how can today's #marketingmonday help you? Start here:

  • Mention Affirm and use the Affirm logo in your print, billboard, and all offline marketing, but especially in social media. Let the brand drive recognition and bring you customers.

  • One main value of Affirm is "financial flexibility", and that message should be included in your marketing. You already work with customers in your store to find the perfect fitting or diamond, Affirm works with your customer to find the perfect payment plan.

  • Send an email blast this week and a social media post reconfirming or reannouncing you have Affirm, and link that email and social post directly to a product that costs over $1,000 and has Affirm linked to it on the website. (Send this email only to mobile subscribers for even more fun!)

Finallly, I would suggest downloading and setting up Affirm yourself, and making a small but multiple payment purchase with it.

It's really quite nice and one of the best customer service experiences I've had in years, certainly in the last year.
