This article explains each of the required and optional fields that you can include in your CSV file. To generate a CSV file, export your spreadsheet as “.csv” (comma-separated values). ## Required Fields For each record in your CSV file, there must be a value for each of these fields: - Item Type - SKU/Style - Cost - Image/Video 1 Some fields are optional; others, if left blank, will be auto-populated (i.e. SKU will become the Item Title, and Meta Description will be populated with text from the Description field). ## Specific order Any fields that you include in the CSV file must appear in the exact order given below. Otherwise, your diamond information will not be imported. Below are the fields for the advanced CSV template. Only fields marked with an asterisk (\*) are required. ## Value Types Next to each field name is a value type (in italics). These value types will help you fill out your CSV with the proper information so your site information displays properly. - **Text**: words, phrases, dashes, and alphanumeric characters - **Number**: numeric values, including decimals (0, 1, 12, 13.4). Do not enter dollar signs, even when entering prices. - **Option**: yes/no or true/false statements. For example, ## Fields **Item Type** *- Text* This corresponds to the type of product, such as ring, pendant, bracelet, etc. This information is not required, but can be helpful for categorizing and filtering your products. **SKU / Style Number\*** *- Text* Each item will need its own unique style number. This field is used as a unique key for updating your product details, and to provide a point of reference for product inquiries and orders. **Gender** *- Text* This field is not required, but every item should have a gender, whether it's Women’s, Men's, or Unisex. You can also check the box labeled "Use *Women’s* for all blank gender values" when importing your CSV. **Item Title** *- Text* If you do not have a title, then the SKU will be used. This will also act as your meta title if you do not set a unique meta title. **Cost** *- Number* This is for your own reference, and this will not be shown on the front-end of the website, unless you have a special wholesale customer system set up through Punchmark. **Retail Price/MSRP** *- Number* The price that will show directly to your visitors. **Web Description** *- Text* This field should contain a concise but specific 1-sentence description of your product. (i.e. “14k white gold halo diamond engagement ring with 0.45 carats of side diamonds.”) **Brand** *- Text* This field must match your brand name/collection title exactly in order to tag a product with one of your brands. **Collection** *- Text* This field should contain the collection or season this piece is from. **Base SKU** *- Text* If your product has multiple variations (i.e. different metal types), this field represents the first part of the SKU that is the same across all variations. **Barcode** *- Text* Enter the item barcode, if applicable. **GUID** *- Text* Enter a unique identifier for this item, if applicable. **RFID** *- Text* Enter an RFID for this item, if applicable. **Availability** *- Text or Number* Enter either a numeric value or a textual value, such as “3” or “Usually ships within 3-5 business days.” Entering "0" means your item will ship today; "1" means it will ship tomorrow. If you enter a number, this field will automatically populate the number of days until it will be available to a customer when added to their shopping cart. **Allow Drop Ship** - *Option* To allow drop-shipping for this item, enter “Y”. “N” or an empty field will not enable this item to be drop-shipped. **Primary Category** *- Text* To be visible, each item must have one unique primary category. If this field is blank, your item will simply be entered as "uncategorized" and will not show up on the front end of your website. This field must match one of your categories exactly. **Other Categories** *- Text* If there are additional categories in which you would like your product to appear, enter these categories separated by commas. The categories you list must match your existing categories exactly. You will still need to enter a primary category in order for this field to import properly. These categories cannot be the same as your primary category. **Image/Video 1\*** *- Text* This field must match the file name of one of the images or videos you have already uploaded. If the image does not exist, then the item will not be imported. **Image/Video 2** *- Text* To add an alternate image or video that has already been uploaded. **Image/Video 3** *- Text* To add a third image or video that has already been uploaded. **Image/Video 4** *- Text* To add a fourth image or video that has already been uploaded. **Image/Video 5** *- Text* To add a fifth image or video that has already been uploaded. **YouTube Link** *- Text* If you have a YouTube video for this product, enter the link to the video, which will be embedded on the product details page. **Gold Price** *- Number* Enter the price per ounce. Possible setting values are: ![](https://help.punchmark.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/grey_arrow_down-4.png) Click here to expand... ``` prong, baguette, three stone, bezel, half bezel, tension, channel end, channel, pave, halo, burnished, shared prong, bead, bar, invisible, antique, bypass, multi row, single row, solitaire, side stone, five stone, cluster, cathedral, classic, vintage, drop, french pave, u pave, micro prong, split prong, micro pave, flush ``` **Matching SKUs** *- Text* Enter SKUs for items meant to be linked together, such as wedding bands and matching engagement rings. **Similar SKUs** *- Text* List SKUs for items similar to this one, separated by commas. **Shape Range** *- Text* If this is a setting, entering the range of possible diamond shapes separated by commas will help customers find matching diamonds if you have the Diamond Search installed (e.g. "round,oval,pear"). **Ring Size(s)** *- Number(s)* List all available ring sizes for this item, separated by commas (e.g. "6,6.5,7,7.5,8.8,5,9" etc). If multiple sizes are listed, and e-commerce is enabled, a value must be selected to add it to the cart. Otherwise, one value will be listed for the item information. **Center Diamond Included** *- Option* If a center diamond is included, enter "Y" in this field. **Center Diamond Carat Weight** *- Number* This field is for the carat weight of your center diamond. **Center Diamond Shape** *- Text* The shape of your center diamond. **Center Diamond Cut** *- Text* The cut of your center diamond. Possible values are EX, VG, G, F, or P. **Center Diamond Clarity** *- Text* The clarity of your center diamond. Possible values are F, IF, VVS1, VVS2, VS1, VS2, SI1, SI2, SI3, I1, I2, or I3. **Center Diamond Color** *- Text* The color of your center diamond. **Center Diamond Dimensions** *- Text* The dimensions of your center diamond. **Center Diamond Lab Type** *- Text* The lab where your center diamond's report was generated. **Center Diamond Lab Grown** *- Option* Indicates whether the center gemstone is natural (N) or lab grown (Y). **Center Diamond Lab Report Image** *- Text* If you have an image of your lab report, you can upload it via FTP. Entering the name of the image here will associate your center diamond with this lab report. **Center Diamond Fluorescence** *- Text* The fluorescence intensity of your center diamond (e.g. Strong, Faint, etc.) **Center Diamond Fluorescence Color** *- Text* The diamond fluorescence color of your center diamond. **Center Diamond Table %** *- Number* The table percentage of your center diamond. **Center Diamond Depth %** *- Number* The depth percentage of your center diamond. **Center Diamond Culet** *- Option* If your center diamond has a culet, enter "Y" in this field. **Center Diamond Price** *- Number* The total price of your center diamond. Do not include a dollar sign. **Center Diamond Price Per Carat** *- Number* The price per carat of your center diamond. Do not include a dollar sign. **Common Diamond Carat Weight** *- Number* The total carat weight of your other diamonds. **Common Diamond Shape** *- Text* The general shape of your other diamonds. **Common Diamond Cut** *- Text* The general cut grade of your other diamonds. Possible values are EX, VG, G, F, or P. **Common Diamond Clarity** *- Text* The general clarity of your other diamonds. Possible values are F, IF, VVS1, VVS2, VS1, VS2, SI1, SI2, SI3, I1, I2, or I3. **Common Diamond Color** *- Text* The general color of your other diamonds. **Common Diamond Lab Grown** *- Option* Indicates whether the common diamonds are natural (N) or lab grown (Y). **Total Diamond Count** *- Number* The number of diamonds in your piece of jewelry, including the center diamond. **Total Diamond Carat Weight** *- Number* The total carat weight, including the center diamond. **Low Carat Range** *- Number* The lowest carat weight that can fit in this setting. **High Carat Range** *- Number* The highest carat weight that can fit in this setting. **Center Gemstone Included** *- Option* If a center gemstone is included, enter "Y" in this field. **Center Gemstone Type** *- Text* The type of center gemstone. **Center Gemstone Shape** *- Text* The shape of the center gemstone. **Center Gemstone Carat Weight** *- Number* The carat weight of the center gemstone. **Center Gemstone Dimensions** *- Text* The dimensions of the center gemstone. **Center Gemstone Quality** *- Text* The quality of the center gemstone. **Center Gemstone Lab Grown** *- Option* Indicates whether the center gemstone is natural (N) or lab grown (Y). **Center Gemstone AGTA Code** *- Text* The gemstone enhancement code, if any. ![](https://help.punchmark.com/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/grey_arrow_down-4.png) AGTA Codes (N) Natural, (B) Bleaching, (C) Coating, (E) Enhanced, (D) Dyeing, (F) Filling, (H) Heating, (HP) Heating and Pressure, (I) Impregnation, (IMIT) Imitation, (L) Lasering, (O) Oiling/Resin Infusion, (R) Irradiation, (SYN) Synthetic, (U) Diffusion, or (W) Waxing **Gemstone Type A** *- Text* The first of five additional gemstone types for a given piece aside from the center gemstone. **Gemstone Type A Carat Weight** *- Number* The carat weight of the first gemstone. **Gemstone Type B** *- Text* The second of five additional gemstone types for a given piece aside from the center gemstone. **Gemstone Type B Carat Weight** *- Number* The carat weight of the second gemstone. **Gemstone Type C** *- Text* The third of five additional gemstone types for a given piece aside from the center gemstone. **Gemstone Type C Carat Weight** *- Number* The carat weight of the third gemstone. **Gemstone Type D** *- Text* The fourth of five additional gemstone types for a given piece aside from the center gemstone. **Gemstone Type D Carat Weight** *- Number* The carat weight of the fourth gemstone. **Gemstone Type E** *- Text* The fifth of five additional gemstone types for a given piece aside from the center gemstone. **Gemstone Type E Carat Weight** *- Number* The carat weight of the fifth gemstone. **Total Gemstone Carat Weight** *- Number* The total carat weight of all gemstones. **Stock Level** *- Number* The default stock level is "1". If the stock level is zero, the default out-of-stock message will be displayed. If the stock level is above 1, and e-commerce is enabled, visitors will be able to add multiple quantities to the cart. **Weight** *- Number* The weight of this piece, in any unit of measure, as a numeric value. **Weight Measurement** *- Text* Enter the weight unit type, such as lbs, ounces, grams, etc. **Length** *- Number* Enter a numeric value of the width of the item. **Length Measurement** *- Text* Enter the length unit type, such as inches, in, ", centimeters, cm, etc. **Width** *- Number* Enter a numeric value of the width of the item. **Width Measurement** *- Text* Enter the width unit type, such as inches, millimeters, mm, etc. **Watch Type** *- Text* The type of watch (analog, digital, quartz, casual, etc.). **Watch Bracelet Material** *- Text* The material the watch band is made of (leather, gold, stainless steel, silicone, etc.). **Watch Bracelet Style** *- Text* The style of watch band (Milanese, Oyster, Pilot, embossed leather, etc.). **Watch Case Size** *- Number* The size of the watch case, in mm. **Watch Case Material** *- Text* The watch case material (stainless steel, gold, etc.). **Watch Crystal Type** *- Text* The type or types of crystals in the watch. If there is more than one, enter each value separated by a comma. **Watch Bezel** *- Text* The type of bezel on the watch (stationary, compass, countdown, etc.). **Watch Dial Color** *- Text* The color of the watch dial. **Watch Movement** *- Text* The type of movement driving the watch (quartz, mechanical, automatic). **Watch Clasp** *- Text* The type of clasp on the watch band. **Watch Water Resistance** *- Text* Enter any information about the water resistance level of the watch. You can enter sentences, such as “Water resistant up to 100ft” or a simple option (yes/no). **Watch Functions** *- Text* Any additional functions the watch has, such as day of the week/month, stopwatch functions, etc. **Fixed Shipping Price** *- Number* If this item requires more for shipping, enter a fixed shipping price value, not including dollar signs. **Meta Title** *- Text* You can generate a page title to improve search engine optimization (SEO) for this specific product page. If blank, the page title is generated by the item title. **Meta Keywords** *- Text* You can enter enter keyword values separated by commas (e.g. diamonds, diamond jewelry, gold, yellow gold, amethyst, amethysts). This will also tag these items for search terms when visitors search for products. **Meta Description** *- Text* Meta Descriptions are sometimes used by search engines to generate a description on the search results page. This field also helps you get better search engine optimization (SEO) for this product, as it is adding more pertinent content to your product details page.
