How to Add a New Slide and Links to a PageBuilder Banner

Some websites have a homepage banner that is using PageBuilder instead of the Slider Admin built SiteManager. These PageBuilder banners need to be edited the way PageBuilder elements are edited, right on the page.

Follow these steps or read this interactive instructional here.

  1. Log into your SiteManager and then to the front end of your site to access your PageBuilder

  2. Click into your first home slide

  3. Select the "COLUMN" breadcrumb in the top bar of the page

  4. Select "ADD A NEW SLIDE". Navigate to the last home slide which will be a duplicate of the first slide

  5. Select anywhere on your new duplicated slide and then select "CHOOSE"

  6. Select "Upload" > choose the image from your computer > "ADD SELECTED"

  7. Navigate back to the last slide

Alert! The next step only applies if you had elements added over the image

  1. Certain elements were added to the image since the slide was duplicated. You will want to delete those elements.

  2. Edit your slide details or delete it using the "Trash" icon. Once deleted, refresh your page and navigate back to the slide and repeat these steps until you have removed all of the unnecessary elements.

  3. To add a link, select anywhere on the slide and then select "LINK"

  4. Select this text field and add the URL you'd like the image to link to.
