WYSIWYG

WYSIWYG stands for “what you see is what you get.” WYSIWYGs are one of four types of elements available in PageBuilder.

WYSIWYGs are typically only used by advanced users. They allow you to enter custom HTML5/CSS that often links to external scripts.

Examples of when you might use WYSIWYGs:

  • Embedding forms, such as email sign-up forms from your mailing client

  • Enabling booking and scheduling widgets from third party providers

  • Embedding videos posted to Youtube or Vimeo

There are lots of cases when it is appropriate to use WYSIWYGs, but most of them rely on third party services that will supply you with the code. It’s always a good idea to check with your account manager before enabling a WYSIWYG that uses third party code.
